Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
Thank you all so much for choosing to shop online here at MoSoap.com or coming into our shop in Ironton, Missouri this holiday season. It certainly didn't turn out like I expected as we made it to Thanksgiving, decorated, had our Open House and then boom.....Shanda and I both became exposed to CoVID and we had to close the store. While we are once again back and healthy, I'm just not as fast right now as I use to be but I am getting better. As I type, my lye water is cooling and the lard is melting as I am back to soaping while the shop is closed.
I hope to have all the orders out by tomorrow, Dec. 29th and I can't thank everyone for their patience. I think most of you know that have dealt with me over the years is that I'm not the fastest at shipping. I still always think I have enough soap in stock, and then a tour bus comes to the soap store, and we are deleted. It's a 3 week process to get soap back on the shelf. For 2022, I will be trying to link the inventory for online and the shop better but since we have the 2 websites (MoSoap.com and ArcadiaValleySoap.com) I can only link one.
Again, thanks so much for sticking with me throughout the years - 2021 was my 20th Anniversary online and making soap in Missouri. It came and went without much fanfare as I was just too busy making soap and fixing buildings. Maybe I'll do something fun for my 25th soapmaking party!

New Year, new store and new site
Hello all you lovely MoSoap people out there!
2015 has certainly started off with some excitement in my soapmaking life. How is yours going so far?
Welcome to our new website here at MoSoap.com I'm building as I type so bare with me please. After 11 years with Yahoo Small Business, my site suddenly disappeared. I changed nothing, didn't move the DNS or servers and boom - it and all my email was gone. So I have spent the last 2 weeks working on trying to get it back and Yahoo informed me they didn't know why and to hire someone. I did nothing and after 11 years of paying them with rarely an issue, I thought they could have double checked for me but no. So, I'm taking my little site and moving it to Shopify now. Seems easy enough and it has some features I didn't have with Yahoo, so all things work for good!
The soap shop in Ironton is working out well. My wonderful in-store customers have been amazing and extremely supportive of my soap business. The back of the shop is still under construction but I had the front part open for the winter holidays. Now that Valentines is here, I think I'll just work Friday and Saturdays over there and focus on the web orders all the other days. I still make soap in the Hotel but hopefully I'll have the back of the shop finished by April and be over there full time.
I just wanted to say thank you to everyone that has stuck by me, called or ordered while the site was missing.
