I've been ordering from MoSoap for many years, and the products are very good for my sensitive skin. I don't need chemicals and fake fragrances to clean my body. Old school ways are the best ways. I wish I would have known this 60 years ago. It would have made a great difference in the appearance of my skin as a teen. Unscented products are the best for me. I use the bar soaps of lard, and olive oil. The graded lye soap is good for laundry, and the unscented olive oil lip balm is very good also. Thanks for the extra products, nice gift.
This is the ONLY soap I have used for many years now and have no desire to even try anyone else's products anymore!! I did that before I found this product!!!
Thank you Debra and keep up the fantastic work!!
Santa Approves!! Ho Ho Ho
Wash my hair with it and it comes out great, does not dry out my hair and good for the scalp, great washing soap too
Best soap around if you are looking for squeaky clean and no added lotions, conditioners, oils. Great for oily skin, yet gentle as well. Love it.
I was so excited to find this company. This soap, especially the basic or traditional, is my go to soap everyday. It the only soap that I use to wash my face. This is my first time trying the sandalwood but I know I’ll love it too!
Every product I have received from Mosoap is very good quality and leaves you feeling very clean and smells good too.
very refreshing shower with island joy country soap
I like the smell of the soap and it does a good job of making you look and smell clean
It smells clean and fresh and works great on poison ivy and bug bites. Love it and the service was great. Will order again!
This is the only soap I will use. I have tried so many different brands and will only buy MoSoap. Been using it for years. I love it!
The grated soap seems great so far. I made laundry soap with it today. I hope to use it soon. Thank you so much for the refunded shipping and the little freebies since it took so long to receive the order.
I bought my first brick of garage soap (it was available in bricks then) in 2010, if I recall. I was restoring a Jeep Wrangler.
I still have part of the 2nd brick that I bought sometime subsequent, probably in 2011 or 2012. I just cut a bar from it yesterday and it's a fresh as the day it was delivered years ago.
If I could order another brick, I'd do it in a heartbeat.
The page says it out of stock but I'm going to see if they can make another brick of Garage Soap for me.
I have finally found the one I was looking for. The regular Black Pine Tar soap is my ONLY soap I have used for years. But 9 oz…
I love it! I want more…!
You can try all the others, but MoSoap makes the best. Regular size or this one, you just won’t be disappointed. I never am.
Thanks so much for taking time out to write a review on the different size bar. I guess I made that mistake for a reason and will have to add them to the list permanently. Happy accidents are a good thing : ) Again, thanks so much for your support of handmade over the years!! Debra
I am so allergic to poison ivy. I wash with this as soon as I know I have been around the ivy, which is every summer for sure. I bought plastic travel soap holders and gave all my family members a bar as well. Thank you!!
I am ashamed that we have not left a review before now. We have been using this soap to remove stains on the Sisters' white habits for 15 years now! Nothing comes close to the lye soap from MoSoap. There is a bar of lye at every sink in the convent. The lye removes everything! And it does not damage the wool and linen fabric. People often ask how we keep our habits so white. The answer is MoSoap's Lye. Thank you MoSoap!
I am a retired firefighter and the smell of this soap is just wonderful!
Thank you
Dan
When I read that the scent of this pine tar soap was too strong, I designated a specific expletive to the reviewer, and immediately added it to the cart. They were right though. The scent is quite strong. It took me a few days to figure out why I loved the smell in spite of it not being exactly pleasant in the traditional sense. I had quite the adventurous childhood and exploring burned out abandoned buildings was one of my favorite things in the world to do. This soap smells exactly like a dang house fire and I love it.
If you do not love the smell of house fires, do not let that dissuade you from trying the soap though. While the scent is quite strong in the shower, it does not stay with you. I even washed my beard with it in hopes of smelling it all night, but to no avail. The burnt pine scent fades very quickly. The soap also works very well and one will likely grow to appreciate the scent for its utility. I work in a hospital and I also engage in a sweaty violence snuggle (jiujitsu) five to seven days a week and have had no issues. I have also noticed that I no longer get razor bumps from shaving my head once I started using the pine tar soap (I always washed after shaving - but the complete lack of bumps is new).
In short, do not hesitate to try this soap! I have no reason to get soap elsewhere for as long as these guys are in business.
