Basic lye soap

It smells clean and fresh and works great on poison ivy and bug bites. Love it and the service was great. Will order again!

This is the only soap I will use. I have tried so many different brands and will only buy MoSoap. Been using it for years. I love it!

Mo Soap review

The grated soap seems great so far. I made laundry soap with it today. I hope to use it soon. Thank you so much for the refunded shipping and the little freebies since it took so long to receive the order.

Garage Soap

Best of all

I bought my first brick of garage soap (it was available in bricks then) in 2010, if I recall. I was restoring a Jeep Wrangler.

I still have part of the 2nd brick that I bought sometime subsequent, probably in 2011 or 2012. I just cut a bar from it yesterday and it's a fresh as the day it was delivered years ago.

If I could order another brick, I'd do it in a heartbeat.

The page says it out of stock but I'm going to see if they can make another brick of Garage Soap for me.

Best soap I've used. I have been buying this for over 10 years now

Big Chunk Pine Tar Soap
And I thought it couldn’t get better…

I have finally found the one I was looking for. The regular Black Pine Tar soap is my ONLY soap I have used for years. But 9 oz…
I love it! I want more…!
You can try all the others, but MoSoap makes the best. Regular size or this one, you just won’t be disappointed. I never am.

Thanks so much for taking time out to write a review on the different size bar. I guess I made that mistake for a reason and will have to add them to the list permanently. Happy accidents are a good thing : ) Again, thanks so much for your support of handmade over the years!! Debra

Great soap!

Love the scent and the power to clean.

Gotta Have My Lye Soap!!

I am so allergic to poison ivy. I wash with this as soon as I know I have been around the ivy, which is every summer for sure. I bought plastic travel soap holders and gave all my family members a bar as well. Thank you!!

Basic Lye Soap
Nuns in white
One at every sink

I am ashamed that we have not left a review before now. We have been using this soap to remove stains on the Sisters' white habits for 15 years now! Nothing comes close to the lye soap from MoSoap. There is a bar of lye at every sink in the convent. The lye removes everything! And it does not damage the wool and linen fabric. People often ask how we keep our habits so white. The answer is MoSoap's Lye. Thank you MoSoap!

Great soap

I am a retired firefighter and the smell of this soap is just wonderful!
Thank you

elated that i found this company

When I read that the scent of this pine tar soap was too strong, I designated a specific expletive to the reviewer, and immediately added it to the cart. They were right though. The scent is quite strong. It took me a few days to figure out why I loved the smell in spite of it not being exactly pleasant in the traditional sense. I had quite the adventurous childhood and exploring burned out abandoned buildings was one of my favorite things in the world to do. This soap smells exactly like a dang house fire and I love it.

If you do not love the smell of house fires, do not let that dissuade you from trying the soap though. While the scent is quite strong in the shower, it does not stay with you. I even washed my beard with it in hopes of smelling it all night, but to no avail. The burnt pine scent fades very quickly. The soap also works very well and one will likely grow to appreciate the scent for its utility. I work in a hospital and I also engage in a sweaty violence snuggle (jiujitsu) five to seven days a week and have had no issues. I have also noticed that I no longer get razor bumps from shaving my head once I started using the pine tar soap (I always washed after shaving - but the complete lack of bumps is new).

In short, do not hesitate to try this soap! I have no reason to get soap elsewhere for as long as these guys are in business.

Really clean with no residue

Great natural scent actually leaves you feeling squeaky clean because it rinses so well. My second order of 10.

Love this soap! Use for poison Ivy

I love this soap. If you're like me you get poison ivy bad enough that you need steroids. Well this is my go to! It's starts to dry up my poison ivy in 3 days and I feel the relief immediately. I'm in love with this product and have suggested it to friends.

Garage Soap

Miracle hand cleaner!

My step-son did some work for these folks and brought some soaps back for us. I thought, huh, frilly soap. But I tried the Garage Soap. WOW! It really works! When it was gone I tried a bar of soap from somewhere local with pumice in it. Bleah. This Garage Soap just melts the greases away! We've been trying to get more, but our timing is off. Hopefully soon!

A soap that works for me!

I have used this Black Pine Tar soap for several years. I use it in combination with the olive oil soap. The olive oil soap is used everyday and on every other day I use the pine tar soap - let it sit on skin and hair for several minutes, then wash off good. Bumps that I use to have on scalp, face and arms clear up within several uses. For a 73 year old man with complexion problems, the pine tar soap has cleared my skin. This soap is a lot easier than having places burned off my face and arms! Note, a small blimish or insect bite may itch while healing.

Love This Powerful Pine Tar Soap

I use Pine Tar Soap primarily because of my personal observations that, for me, it provides remarkable benefits for my skin. I use the bar soap as a shampoo and particularly on my back which is sometimes rough and scaly. I find that I don't have the slightest trace of dandruff on my scalp or scaliness on my back with the high-strength Black Pine Tar soap from MOSOAP. I've used other brands, all of which seem to have lower concentrations of pine tar. This is my second 10-bar order. I'm a full-fledged Black Pine Tar Soap fan. Oh yes, and I absolutely love the powerful pine tar fragrance. Some people might be turned off by the powerful fragrance but I'm delighted and strongly attracted to it. Thanks for producing and making available this Superior Product.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write your review on our Black Pine Tar soap!! I really appreciate it and am grateful for your business. Debra

The Best I've Found

I hardly ever do reviews but this one I had to comment on just because it's great. I've tried a couple others on the market and this is the best by far. It doesn't leave me smelling like I just walked out of a forest fire as the one from gramps did. I have mild to moderate eczema and this is the only pine tar soap that helps. It leaves me feeling clean and not burnt or dried out like the others. Even works on poison ivy! I highly recommend it if you have any type of skin problem.

My favorite Mosoap

I started buying soap from MOSOAP over ten years ago because my late father, Joseph Michael Brewer was from Flatriver, MO - I wanted to support a Missouri soap company. I was immediately glad I chose MOSOAP. Debra's soaps are old fashioned and I especially like the Gentleman's Pine Tar. It's suddsy and has a great scent and is one I enjoy giving as gifts to friends!

Best Pine Soap Company

The pine tar soaps that Mo Soap makes are the best pine tar soaps I've experienced. At this point I just won't use any other kind of soap and I haven't for three years. Plus I give them as gifts and my friends are delighted too. My skin always feels calm, supple, clean, and fresh, and never dry or itchy, Whenever I work out in the yard with all the weeds, stickers, and allergens, I come in and wash with a thick application of MoSoap, there's no more itch, and I feel so good. I even took a small bar on my major journey across Russia this summer on the Trans-Siberian Railway! Whenever I used my bar of MoSoap, I felt refreshed and relaxed. I love the smell and the feel of this Pine Tar soap,

Poison Ivy Savior

This lye soap is a savior when it comes to poison ivy!!!
I've been using MoSoap Lye soap for years to wash after working in poison ivy (a constant "volunteer" in all my gardens). The lye soap is extremely effective at removing the oils and I rarely get a poison ivy rash since I started using it. If I do get a touch of the rash (from contacting PI- oil contaminated clothing ), a little lather of lye soap applied to the itchy rash and allowed to dry both stops the itch and helps dry up the blisters - and you can use it as many times as you need it! The lye soap lather works better than drug store remedies! I even take a small sliver of soap with me if I have a particularly stubborn rash. I just wet the sliver of soap, swipe it on the rash, and - immediate relief from itching anywhere! Thank you MoSoap!!!

I also use the scented lye soap to wash every day!
